Burak Bulut Yıldırım

Photographer-led Production Partner

Commercial photographer, visual director and contemporary artist working across campaigns, luxury products, executive portraiture and launch-stage brand imagery — with scalable production support when the brief calls for more than one pair of hands.

Authorial image-making.
Production-capable execution.

I do not operate as a photographer who disappears after pressing the shutter. I stay close to the brief, lead the creative decisions, direct the set, shape the light and deliver finished work with commercial discipline. When the job grows, the production grows with it — without handing authorship away.

The Difference

Why Burak

Authorial Direction

The fine art practice sharpens the commercial one. The result is not just clean execution, but images with authorship, atmosphere and a recognisable point of view — useful for brands that want distinct visual identity rather than interchangeable content.

Scalable Production

For smaller commissions, I work lean and direct. For larger briefs, I scale with trusted support through LUX Prodüksiyon: art direction, retouch, video, assistants, casting, HMUA and production coordination. The structure expands. The creative lead stays with me.

Lighting Authority

Studio lighting is not treated as decoration on my sets. It is the foundation of the image. Years of teaching, workshops and advanced portrait and product work translate into faster decisions, stronger control and more reliable results across skin, reflective surfaces, movement and mood.

Process

How I Work

Brief & Concept

Every project starts with the brief, the use case and the delivery need. I can build the visual direction from the ground up — concept, moodboards, casting, schedule and production logic — or plug into an agency workflow already in motion.

On Set

The set needs clarity as much as creativity. I keep the direction precise, the pace controlled and the atmosphere workable — whether the subject is a founder with ten minutes, a model cast, or a product setup that demands exact lighting.

Delivery

Retouched files, structured output and dependable timelines. Lightroom and Photoshop are part of the workflow on every commercial job. The aim is refinement, consistency and usable final material — not over-processing for its own sake.

Flexibility

How Projects Scale

Some briefs need one photographer and a clean decision chain. Others need a wider crew, stills plus motion, casting and multi-format delivery. I work across that full range.

Lean

Direct commissions, executive portraits, editorial assignments. Minimal footprint, fast setup, close communication, full authorship.

Integrated Crew

Photographer plus selected support: retouch, art direction, video or assistants. Suitable for beauty, luxury product, branded storytelling and launch visuals.

Full Production

Broader production through trusted partners: art direction, video, assistants, HMUA, styling and casting coordination. Built for larger campaigns, cross-format deliverables and location work across Europe and the UK.

Behind the Camera

I lead the image.
The production scales around it.

I stay in the conversation from the first call to the final delivery. On smaller jobs, that means a direct workflow with fewer layers. On larger productions, I work with a trusted support structure through LUX Prodüksiyon — the production company I founded in 2005 — bringing in art direction, retouch, video, assistants and casting support when the brief requires it.

The crew changes size. The creative responsibility stays with me.

Fine Art

Beyond the Brief

The fine art practice is not a side note to the commercial work. It is where I keep testing form, light, body, tension and atmosphere at full intensity — through exhibitions, long-term personal series and museum- or gallery-facing work across Europe.

That discipline comes back into commissioned projects as sharper authorship, stronger visual restraint and imagery that does not collapse into generic brand content.

It is not separate from the commercial work. It is one of the reasons the commercial work holds its own.
